SAFETY POLICY

 

It is the policy of this Company to strive for the highest safety standards on our projects. Safety does not occur by chance. Safety is the result of careful attention to all Company operations by those who are directly and indirectly involved. Employees at all levels of this Company must work diligently to execute the Company’s policy of maintaining safety and occupational health.

 

Our safety program has been developed to assure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations with particular emphasis on the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) and the OSHA requirements that apply to our construction operation. It is the obligation of all employees to be knowledgeable of the standards established by these agencies and to implement the rules and regulations contained therein. These safety rules and regulations are to be used by subcontractors and other vendors related to any construction project of HDC Development Companies, LLC. Any regulations set forth by HDC Development Companies, LLC are intended as guidelines and do not supersede OSHA and other state and federal safety regulations.

 

Regard for the safety of the general public, our own employees and the employees of our subcontractors is of utmost importance in all levels of our organization. We intend to prevent any human suffering. Accidents, even minor ones, cause physical and mental pain. Prevention of injury and illness is our goal.

 

A safe operation is organized, clean and efficient. If every employee strives to prevent accidents in a timely, accurate way, we will be better able to improve the total performance of our Company. It is therefore of the utmost importance that all aspects of our safety program be strictly adhered to and that the intent of this program be followed to the letter. Our Company views safety as a very important component of our construction industry. Please be assured the Company will stand behind safety enforcement on all aspects of projects. The Company intends to make job sites safe working environments for every member of HDC Development Companies, LLC.

 

Production and safety must be inseparable. Our Company intends to make every effort to reduce the possibility of accidents.
